Hift: Referral Program Terms

Last updated: May, 2026

These terms explain how the Hift Referral Program works: who can take part, how rewards are earned, and the rules for sharing your referral link. They apply to everyone who invites friends to Hift and to everyone who joins through a referral link.

The Referral Program is run by [Company legal name], registered in [country] under registration number [number], with its registered address at [address] ("Hift", "we", "us" or "our").

These terms form part of our Terms of Service. Where they say something different about the Referral Program, these terms apply. Words such as "credits", "account" and "Service" have the same meaning as in our Terms of Service.

  1. How the Program Works

1.1 Every Hift account has a personal referral link, which you can find in the Hift app under Settings, then Referrals.

1.2 When someone signs up through your link and makes their first purchase of a credit pack or monthly plan, the referral is "complete" once that payment is final, as explained in Section 3.

1.3 When a referral is complete, you and your friend each receive [50] credits ("referral credits").

1.4 The Program has one level only. You earn rewards only for people you invite directly, never for people they go on to invite.

1.5 You do not need to buy anything to take part in the Program or to share your link.

  1. Who Can Take Part

2.1 To invite friends, you must:

have a Hift account in good standing;

be 18 or older;

live in a country where Hift and the Referral Program are available.

2.2 To count as a referral, your friend must:

be 18 or older;

be new to Hift, with no current or previous Hift account under any email address;

sign up through your referral link, not by any other route;

live in a country where Hift is available.

2.3 You cannot refer yourself, and you cannot refer an account you own, control or share. We may treat accounts that share a payment method, device, address or other details as belonging to the same person.

2.4 People who work for Hift, and anyone working with Hift under a separate paid creator or affiliate agreement, can only take part on the terms of that agreement.

  1. Rewards

3.1 Referral credits are added to both accounts [14] days after your friend's first payment, once that payment can no longer be refunded or reversed.

3.2 Milestone bonus. When 5 of your referrals are complete, you receive an extra [100] credits. We may offer further milestones, and if we do, we will show them in the Referrals section of your account.

3.3 We may limit the number of referral rewards one account can earn in a month. Any limit will be shown in the Referrals section of your account.

3.4 If your friend's first payment is refunded, cancelled or charged back, the referral is not complete and no referral credits are given for it. If referral credits were already added, we may remove them. Where they have already been used, we may deduct the same amount from future referral rewards. We never take them out of credits you paid for.

3.5 You can see the status of each referral in the Referrals section of your account: signed up, pending or complete.

  1. Referral Credits

4.1 Referral credits are promotional credits. They work like other Hift credits and can be used for any research on the Service.

4.2 Referral credits:

have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money;

cannot be transferred, sold or moved to another account;

are not refundable;
expire [12 months] after they are added to your account if they are not used.

4.3 Referral credits are used before any other credits in your account. Otherwise, the order in our Terms of Service applies.

4.4 If your account is closed, any unused referral credits are lost.

  1. Rules for Sharing Your Link

These rules apply wherever you share your link, including on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, in messages, in your bio and in any other post, video, story or comment.

5.1 Say it is a referral link. Make clear that you get a reward when people sign up through your link. Use the disclosure tools of the platform you post on, such as its branded content or paid partnership label, or a clear tag such as #ad or "referral link", in the way the law where you and your audience live requires.

5.2 Be honest about what Hift is. Hift is an AI research tool. When you talk about it, you must not:

promise or suggest that people will make money, beat the market or avoid losses by using Hift;

describe Hift's research, signals or forecasts as financial, investment or betting advice, tips or guaranteed results;

say or suggest that Hift is licensed, authorised or regulated, unless we have told you in writing that this is true;

say or suggest that you work for Hift, or that Hift or any of our partners endorses you or your content;

show screenshots, results or research that you did not actually receive from Hift, or that you have edited to look different;

make any claim about Hift that you know, or should know, is false or misleading.

5.3 Prediction markets. Prediction markets may be treated as gambling, or be restricted, in some countries. You must not present Hift's prediction market research as betting tips, and you must not promote it to people in places where prediction markets are not allowed.

5.4 Over 18s only. Hift is only for people aged 18 and over. You must not aim your link or content at people under 18, for example by posting it in content made for children or teenagers, or in places mainly used by them.

5.5 No spam. You must not send your link in unsolicited bulk messages, emails or comments, or post it repeatedly in places where it is not welcome.

5.6 No paid ads on our name. You must not run paid search or social ads that use the word "Hift", our logo or anything confusingly similar, and you must not use our name or logo in usernames, page names, app names or website addresses.

5.7 No cash incentives. You must not pay people, or offer them money, gifts or other rewards, to sign up through your link.

5.8 No fake activity. You must not use fake accounts, bots, scripts or any other method to create sign-ups, purchases or referrals that do not come from real people genuinely choosing to use Hift.

5.9 You are responsible for your content and for following the laws and platform rules that apply to you, including advertising, consumer protection and data protection rules.

  1. Privacy

6.1 If you sign up through someone's referral link, the person who invited you can see your first name, the first letter of your last name, the date you joined and the status of the referral. They never see your email address, what you research or how much you paid.

6.2 We use referral details only to run the Program, give out rewards and prevent abuse. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

6.3 Only share your link in ways your friends would expect. Do not upload or share other people's contact details with us.

  1. Abuse and Our Rights

7.1 If we reasonably believe that someone has broken these terms, or is trying to misuse the Program, we may:

refuse, hold back or remove referral credits;

cancel referrals;

remove your access to the Program;

suspend or close the account involved, as set out in our Terms of Service.

7.2 Before taking any step that affects your account, we will tell you why, unless the law or an ongoing investigation prevents it. If you disagree with our decision, contact us at support@hift.io and we will review it.

7.3 We may ask you to remove or correct any post or content about Hift that breaks Section 5, and you agree to do so promptly.

  1. Changes to the Program

8.1 We may change these terms, the rewards or the milestone bonus, or end the Program, at any time. We will give at least [14] days' notice by email or in the Service, unless the change is needed to stop abuse or comply with the law.

8.2 Changes do not affect referrals that were complete before the change takes effect. Referral credits you have already received stay in your account, subject to Sections 3.4, 4.2 and 7.

  1. Your Relationship with Hift

9.1 Taking part in the Program does not make you an employee, agent, partner or representative of Hift, and you must not present yourself as one.

9.2 If you would like to work with us as a paid creator or affiliate, contact us at [partners@hift.io]. Any such arrangement needs a separate written agreement.

9.3 Referral credits have no cash value. If you are responsible for any tax in connection with rewards you receive, that is your responsibility.

  1. Liability

Our liability in connection with the Program is limited in the same way as set out in our Terms of Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

  1. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law, and disputes go to the courts, set out in our Terms of Service.
